I’ll probably be up for the game.
If I’m being honest Part of me wanted to get bounced into Europa so that we would have a shot at winning, and backdoor into UCL next year. Even if everyone were playing at their best I think our defense is just too weak to do anything in UCL this season. Then again, last season proved anything is possible.
But none of that really matters at this point, because they’ve played so poorly they wouldn’t win shite. Hoping Mourinho is a turning point.

Dier is a bit clunky out there but that’s to be expected. Entertaining 1st half so far which is all I’m asking for at this point before we get settled into the Mourinho Era

They seem to be playing with a little more energy but passing is still off. Not much different tactics wise but that’s to be expected. Still can’t figure what to do with the ball final third.

considering recent form, and more specifically away form, I’m good with the result. Disappointed we didn’t go up 4-0, and let them claw their way back in the game, but all things considered after this week it was a solid start.

I agree, under the circumstances, it was a great result and I'm very happy with the win, I just wanted to see them finish the game. One of the things mentioned post-game was that Jose now had something to work on in shoring up the defense.
