who?
I think it was Jones or Herrera.
They didnt show a close up replay so it's hard to tell what exactly happened. Was pretty much in the last seconds of the match. Really unfortunate.

Dang. Y'all gonna buy somebody? Y'all seemed like a lock for third, but with Kane out a couple months and Son gone for a bit, hanging on to top four might be hard.

Don't forget being down 5th and 6th choice defensive midfielders in Winks and Skipp.
But yeah, Spurs/Levy are not buying anyone.
Guess Llorente is finally going to get a run out or Vincent Janssen will be recalled from the shadow realm.

That 2nd leg semi-final of the EFL Cup at Stamford Bridge next week is going to suck. Hahaha

yep. that's what i was just thinking about after hearing the kane news.

Poch said Janssen wasn’t in his plans so it looks like it’s just Llorente.
Dier should be back soon so that’s good.

Demebele has officially left for Guangzhou.
Sad day.

Really is a sad day. I really like Demebele. Who do we have besides Llorente? I mean in case something happens to him who do we put up top? Lamela?

Dier is back according to Spurs email. Was listening to TSS and they were talking about possible strikers and mentioned that maybe Dele Ali might be a short term solution. What do you guys think about that? I think the right answer to to buy someone but as we know that might not happen.

Didn’t Son play there some at one point? I love him, he’s so fun to watch

With Kane’s injury we have to at least look around for some kind of option

Yeah, but he's gone for international duty for a month or so.

Considering the way y’all play, you could definitely get by with kind of a 4-2-2-2 with Alli-Moura up top and maybe Eriksen- Lamela just behind. Obviously not optimal but I think that could still be an interesting lineup

Moura is injured too...
But yeah, I'll think Poch will be able to patch something together.

It might just be wishful thinking, but I'm actually excited to see Llorente get a shot I think he's done well in the limited spells he's had this season.
I'm wondering if Poch will go false 9 with Dele or will go to a 3-5-2 to let the fullbacks push high and whip balls into Llorente. Be interesting to see.

It’s interesting they talked about that on TSS too and I kind of agree with their take, just because Poch is a great coach and might be able to “make” something work isn’t a reason to not spend money. They think it might be what drives him away if he decides to leave.
I’m with you though and think he will find a way, but it would be nice if Levy would open the pocketbook.
