Saw a stat where we are something like seven wins and four draws with Hendo in midfield, and wayyyy worse when he is out or on the back line.

So just curious, what are your opinions on how we get back in the game? Is it as simple as getting healthy? I am not completely confident that FSG backs Klopp in the Summer. They have let him down a few times already and Covid has everybody spooked. Idk.

I think we need a healthy squad to assess if it’s a player issue or a system issue. I’m still unsure at this point.
Edit for additional notes: 1) Thiago needs to stop giving away stupid fouls in dangerous areas. He does this nearly every game he plays. 2) Alison needs to pull his head out of his arse. 3) Ox should not be subbing on in matches where we are down or pressing for a goal, he’s a traffic cone at this point.

We need back line and midfield depth. And one of Manè or Salah need to go and be replaced.

Manè and Salah don’t seem to care much for each other. And as much as I love Bobby, he has been in the midst of the yips for coming up on two years. He does great things, but he doesn’t have any consistency nowadays.
I really think that we may see signings and sales that we don’t truly expect coming in this summer window. I don’t know what big names will be coming, but part of what we need is a refresh up top whether it is one player or more.
Honestly, we probably could play Jota in Bobby’s role if he indeed was one we moved on from. He’d probably still garner a pretty penny for us to apply to someone else to bolster the squad.
I really want new midfielders though. Thiago is looking bad because he is the only midfielder with a pulse out there with the gall to go forward. Gini is great for possession, but he passes backward a shite ton too much. Then with Hendo on the back line, it is a revolving door for that third spot.
I don’t know what anyone expects of Klopp, but I’ll be entirely surprised if we make top 6 for a finish.

Beginning to think Mane is expendable in the summer
Cant wait to see if Jota changes the dynamic when back.
I would take Salah over Mane...just because Salah finishes.

Match day lads. Let's see if some European football can get the swashbuckling reds back into ruthless form.
Leipzig is as good as we could ask for. They aren't a potent offensive side, many of their goals come from wingback and midfield. It won't be an easy out, but aside from BvB or Monchengladbach they're probably our best matchup.
