We've looked really good this 2nd half, but just like the shield, lacking a bit around the box...

Not sure the point of VAR, if it doesn't right that wrong... that wasn't a penalty..

what's the point if you don't have the angles? apparently, the btsport angle shows he didn't touch him... how do they not have that???
I mean the angle we all saw showed that wasn't a penalty... I get why she may have called it in real time though...

I'll take it.
Defense really needs to wake up. Gomez was sleep walking all game. Hopefully that is just him working to get up to speed but man, he was getting burned a lot and really looked low energy.
Still love Matip going forward.
Credit to Adrian, thought the OK was really dumb but def. redeemed himself. Hopefully a big confidence booster for him and the squad.

But, as I wrote in the Super Cup thread, when you leave your goal and go flying in and you don’t even get close to touching the ball? Well, you get what you pay for.

I don't think they have the TV cameras available. They usually have their own cameras.

You can back out as aggressively as you want. You can still foul the guy. If they didn't have an angle that clearly showed he didn't touch him, they aren't going to overturn it.

I’m with you man, I think the question above and I are asking is how do they have VAR in place without every angle?
I guess we can allude to NFL issues etc but hard to understand how they don’t have a shite ton of cameras in place given the controversy VAR has already created.
