Yea Jones is a good one for the future

I definitely say keep Wilson for depth

yeah - Origi has looked pretty good early on... he's making really good runs..

Wilson's finishing is cool and composed...

Solanke whiffing on that ball made me chuckle...

I know it’s just a preseason friendly but I’m surprised Chester keeps pushing their back line up so high

Good start for the most part though considering it’s the first preseason game

Now if Keita doesn’t scored 3 goals and get 2 assists I will be disappointed...

I know it's pre-season and Chester... but going back to the conversation earlier this week..

Origi looks levels above Solanke in terms of forward play and looking like he may score...

Again, not making too much out if it... just something that jumped out to me while watching..

I think a lot of people did

Obviously TAA is a way better passer, but Clyne is so solid defensively so it will be interesting to see what we do with them

Also hoping Ojo comes in and makes an impact like Wilson did. When he’s healthy he’s pretty good too

Hopefully, it moves Gomez back to CB.. And there is healthy comp between TAA and Clyne..

Absolutely

And right on cue Ojo draws the penalty

Would still like us to bring in Shaqiri and keep one of Ojo or Wilson around. Would be hard to keep both though and make sure they get enough game time

Keita wins the ball back and it goes straight to Sturridge with the finish

Dang Ryan Kent with the Coutinho curler

The boys that have been out on loan coming to play today and fight for a spot. I’m enjoying this

Naby is making such a difference in the midfield. The second half team is impressing much more but one look at the team sheets could have told you that

Milner playing well too

Those two are running midfield

Sturridge actually looking lively with some of his runs. I mean I’m still expecting him to be sold but he’s just had shite luck it’s nice to see any time he starts to look like his former self just for his own mental well being

Nice run from Milner and cheeky back heel to Ings for a goal

I know Chester are clearly outclassed but Klopp has to be pleased for the most part

Seriously. Could you imagine him healthy and at his 2013/14 form playing in this system? That would be a 120 goal season

Good start for some of the guys looking to try and stay and get game time vs going out on loan

new rumor... personally, I would sell Lallana and keep Gini... If for no other reason, he's fitter and more versatile..

That said, our MF is starting to get very crowded with senior players... especially, if we bring in Fekir or a new AM...

I would think we should be able to get the £25mm, at a minimum, for him if we do sell..

A surprising transfer story with reports in Turkey stating that Liverpool have given Gini Wijnaldum the green light to leave this summer, either on loan or permanent with Fenerbache interested in the Dutch midfielder.

I don’t see why we’d sell Gini. Versatility alone, he can play any of the midfield positions and has rarely had any injury problems so he’s pretty much always available
