Yeah, expected, but we executed well and kept it simple, for the shite our defense has rightfully gotten, they've been playing quite well for a few months now

Yea I happened to see the score on espn’s scroller in like the 80th minute or something so I just went ahead and confirmed at the end what the score was. I’m still about to turn it on anyway but I probably won’t watch super intently

Definitely one of those where you can be on your phone or whatever and just look up every so often... But hey I said yesterday I'd be happy with a clean 0-0 and that's exactly what we got...

Speaking of, who would y'all want for the quarter finals?

About to throw it on while I do some work... hard to get too excited when you know it's a scoreless draw..

edit: even harder when your recording is in espanol

So according to Burley, Shake and Moreno we are horrific on the back line and have no shot unless we catch a favorable draw. So we have replaced 4 out of 5 in the back and it has been a thousand times better. I wonder if those guys even know that Moreno is not our starting LB? They also said that they would rather be United than us due to their stellar bus parking. Have I missed something, are they through yet?

Man the horrible back line take was Soo red hot... Like 3 months ago, ever since VVD has gotten settled and Karius has been named the #1 I can't really think of a poor back line performance, also it's amazing that the one "unchanged" player in our best back 4 is the one every shitted on for so long, because to me our best is:

Karius
Gomez- Lovren- VVD- Robertson

Agreed. I thought Matip would step back into the starting role, but Lovren has been great alongside Virgil.

Yeah it's pretty baffling because Lovren looked lost at times, idk if it's because he's now playing on his more natural side now or if VVD has been "coaching" him up, but he looks way more like the guy we thought we'd see when we bought him.

Yeah, obviously a squad that can use two different backlines in the Champions League Round of 16 and produce two clean sheets is just the worst.

Yeah - these guys just repeat the same ol'.. like they don't even watch..

The talking points should be more along the lines of.. with the already proven attack and much improved backline and GK, these guys have a shot..

Now, I'm not believing we are all of the sudden Atletico Madrid in defense, but we are improved..

I think VVD as a leader an organizer has probably helped calm him down back there.. but make no mistake, he's not very good.. improvement needed! I just he doesn't cost us somewhere along the way..

Robertson’s impact cannot be undervalued either.

Jacky V with an undervalued member highlight.

Andy has been magnificent ever since he got his shot in the starting XI. He’s a man possessed, and we’ve been missing his hot crosses for a long time.

Also, I am ready to see Clyne back... I just hope he can get back to how he was before.

Clyne would be huge, think about the youth on that right side. And Gomez needs to get his shot at CB at some point.
