May also be ignoring that 3 of his best play for the same team. Doubtful that they will all score a lot of points in the same week.

I think Aguero continues to steal goals from Dzeko while Tevez slowly gets more playing time, eating away further at Dzeko's point potential. idk, I could end up being WAY off base here, but this is just my gut feeling.

My problem with the Aguero, Tevez taking production from Dzeko is that he (Dzeko) is a one-of-a-kind player for City.

This is a valid point. I just think his 4 goal game was a fluke that caused a lot of people to buy him like hot cakes, but I don't think his production will be as high as some people are hoping.

I think he'll be productive...but I think he'll end up in the 10-15 goal range.

I know. Just having fun with it.

Also, I purposely put a bunch of guys on the same team. City and United are stacked. They will easily provide the most points in fantasy. That is why I own Silva, Dzeko, Aguero, Rooney, and Anderson.

ETA: My logic with Dzeko and Aguero is that at least one will usually score, so I will get some decent points there. It was exponentially better than my previous strikers. If Dzeko does not produce enough, then I will transfer him out. No big deal. Right now, I just want to take the hottest players possible.

This is my first season playing fantasy PL but this seems to be a pretty viable strategy. I ended up using my wildcard earlier than I wanted to in order to stack my team with the guys who are getting points week in and week out. I figure you have to move before their value goes up too high.

Well, I guess the TD league is in trouble now that you revamped your team.

I traded Danny Graham from Swansea for Leon Best from Newcastle. I basically switched my cheap striker position. I hope Best can continue to do well. Graham has two points or less for each match thus far this season so he had to go.

At least all my starters are actually playing today. That was a problem I often had last season. This season, I decided to go a little more with "big fish in a small pond" strategy. Only three of my players are from the Big 6 clubs (ManU, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Gunners, Tottenham).

Let's see, 0 from one defender, an OG from another and nothing from my midfield to speak of. Shay Given is going to get a hattrick tomorrow!!

ETA: In typical crazy manager form, I used my wildcard for next week and went bat shite crazy. Guess we will see what happens.

Good job, SFP.

I've moved into the top 5. My "big fish in small ponds" strategy seems to be helping me as I don't think I ever sniffed the top 25 of the TD league last season when I tried to go for players on the big teams who I thought would generate more points.

I had such a shitty week, but I think I am going to exploit a certain suspension with some shady competition in the next couple of fixtures. I am disappointed to see that SFP and I both picked up the same guy at midfield. Oh well, I'm actually enjoying fantasy EPL way more than NFL this year because it is much more challenging for me.

All of my defenders fricked me. Two yellows and an OG.

But I'm still in the top 1/3.

Question of the day: Should I drop Ashley Young and pick up Nani since AY played the full 90 against Basil while Nani only played 20? Nani is playing well, so my gut is telling me yes.

That's a tough question. If Rooney and Chicharito don't play United may need both Young and Nani in the starting 11.
