I thought it was hilarious Stuttgart was the lone Bundesliga Europa league survivor.

Crazy right? The Germans had a lot of teams representing the 32 and now there is one. AND Stuttgart?

Atlético is out, they´ve got Simeone to thank. Beastly play by Adrián to set up Falcao´s tap in.

I thought 2 or 3 of them would get eliminated, but stuttgart was definitely on that list

It's been to the Bundesliga's advantage recently that clubs in CL contention in the table still try to win in Europa League instead of resting most of the regulars and focusing domestically (like Napoli this year).

For that reason, I'm never any more surprised at a Europa result than a friendly.

Didn't watch Leverkusen but that may be the case with them.

Saw Lazio/Monchengladbach and though Lazio played a lot of 2nd teamers they still played Hernanes which is mainly who matters for them.

Leverkusen played most of their players, but drew post 3 or 4 times in the second leg, so a bit of bad luck did them in. Hence the name neverkusen.

Gladbach played most of their guys the second leg, but I didn't watch the first leg. They pretty much did themselves in by letting up 3 goals at home. I didn't really put any stock in the Hannover tie, they are wildly inconsistent and not that great in general.
