That is precisely what's going to happen. Lot of chatter that Austria wants to pull the plug on RBNY and Cosmos can fit into without having to rebrand anything. Getting rid of the Energy Drink is a huge upgrade.

Except the cosmos seem to want even less to do with MLS than MLS wants to do with the cosmos.

No major differences in Open Cup play over the last few years.
Salary range.
Many NASL teams were in USL before the new NASL was created.
