After scouring the English media, one of the following names will most likely be the next manager of the Toffees:

Roberto Martinez

Michael Laudrup

Neil Lennon

Malky Mackay

Vitor Pereira

Which one do you want and which one do you think will be the guy? Is he on this list?

Lennon makes the most sense. I mean would winning the next couple Scottish titles unopposed while Rangers are getting their footing back really do anything for his resume?

i think it will be martinez
Pereira would be a nice pickup
but it wouldnt suprise me if they pluck someone from the championship or lower- taking the Moyes route- young coach on the cheap

The best choice outside Lennon IMO.

my top 3 would be

rafa/martinez
martinez/rafa
freedman

rafa probably has his sights set higher and may not want to piss off liverpool fans who still hold him in high regard but his family is already settled in liverpool so may as well consider it.

wigan is such an interesting situation. i doubt they pull off a great escape this time around. they will be in the shield and europe next season while trying to bounce back to the prem. right away with a 46 game schedule in the championship. it is so important to get out to a good start in that league. if they do go down it may take a couple years at least to get back up. i think if everton makes him an offer he takes it.

Sometimes these might be more important and plus he has time to learn how to be tactically better.
