try taking more shots from distance
i used the sliders posted earlier and i have to scale down shot power b/c i'm hitting shots from 40 yards out

I played Man City, wearing their dark blues, with Bayern wearing my blacks. The only difference was the light blue of Man City's socks. It was so damn confusing. I really don't understand how this could be overlooked in the making of the game. I feel like I should only play as green, pink, or purple teams because those colors are used rarely.

SFP, also per your suggestion I've been playing with Aston Villa as an EPL team to build up with. I like their speed up top. Been practicing with them and will start a career with them this weekend probably.
I dont follow soccer as closely as yall do so will I have trouble during the transfer period signing quality guys or does the CPU give you some good assistance doing that? Any pointers as well as to how to handle buying guys and loans and such is greatly appreciated.

I play with Arsenals red jerseys and I've yet to encounter that jersey problem... I'd be sure pissed if that happens

I'll probably play with Arsenal eventually because they are my team. I just love having Robben and Ribery on the wings being able to send it into Gomez. I would just think that if you play with Arsenal, you could run into problems with ManU, Liverpool, Bayern, AC Milan (to an extent), and Real (if the guy chooses their alternates). Although, I've played about 10 games online so far and I've played Man City, Real, and Barcelona only.

I just played chelsea online and I couldn't win a 50-50 ball. Mertesacker, tv5 and song couldn't win them. I dont think i've ever gotten so infuriated with this game. He got one bullshite scrum goal off of a corner that drogba plowed through sagna and tv5 and blasted a goal.

Mine was on the receipt...I actually had to go back to the store this week to get a replacement receipt. The code goes in at the Store menu, there is an option for vouchers or something like that. Once I put it in, my packs were waiting for me in FUT.

I had to ask my GF to look through her email and find it for me, since she got it for my bday. I was late so I don't get my 4 packs until november...
I just hit the post 3 straight times on an offensive possession, and I was down 1-0, all of this came directly off the kickoff. I dribbled through the whole team (arteta) and blasted a shot, went off the crossbar, straight back to him again and hit the side post then straight out to RvP who hit the crossbar again.
Needless to say I'm down one more controller now because he directly countered after that sequence and his shot hit the post, hit my goalie and went in.

Everyone I play against uses Real Madrid and they always score some long shot with Cristiano Ronaldo. Their only offense is to play a through ball to Ronaldo and have him blast it right when he gets its. It's annoying.

I was skeptical about the H2H seasons at first, but I love it now... I had 7 points with 3 games left and needed 16 to advance, won all 3 of them including a 90' goal in my last game to win 2-1. I have never had so much adrenaline and excitement after winning a game... Finally beat Brazil which made it that much better

Might be a dumb question but I'm looking to start a season in the EPL - can you play the games in manager mode or does it just allow you to handle transfers and you have to sim the games?
Also I briefly looked at the beginning of it last night and was a bit overwhelmed with all the transfer stuff. How many players do you typically need in your reserves? And I assume you would loan off the rest?

ETA: and when you don't, you've still got your CB in place so they're not 1 on 1.

Play as a lower ranked team. This year you'll automatically be matched up with a team of similar strength. I can play as Charlton now. However I chose to frick that and play Ultimate Team instead.

Marseille have a pink away kit, and another that is an odd mix, which is kinda cool.
