There have been a few snoozers for sure. Others were pretty enjoyable. They'll get better. It's only the first match days.

Alexi Lalas is a motherfricking buffoon. I don't know who told him that he is the expert.

It wasn't pretty but England should be happy with the draw.

But...but...Lalas was a MLS pioneer and played on two US World Cup teams.
That means that he knows more about Euro than a former German NT captain, amirite?

As crazy as this sounds, Poland-Greece was by far the most exciting match of the first round.
Hopefully Zlatan kicks someone in the head later today. The Germans, Spaniards, Dutch, and Portuguese have all been lackluster so far, and the Eye-talians, English, and French have lived up to their less than exciting billing as well.

I thought this match was awesome. The passing was sublime.

Yea, but at some point watching Spain pass isn't that exciting either.

Spain Italy was a really good game. The last 20 minutes of Portugal Germany was really good. Russia Czech Republic was great obviously. Croatia Ireland had alot of goals. Denmark Netherlands was exciting bc of the implications. Only real dud so far was Spain France this morning

Ukraine and Sweden played an impressive, open game.
Both teams had quick build-ups, and Sweden left a chance or two begging.

Most of these have been infinitely better than the Copa America last year
I spent that entire tournament in denial
