We will do well in Europa. We are a dangerous cup team. The FA Cup recently proves that. Don't underestimate what winning a European competition could mean to the fans and the players too.

Apparently we officially hired Sven Mislintat away from Dortmund to take over as chief scout. Possibly an indication that some actual changes are on the horizon?

Probably mentioned before, but is there an app/website I can stream recent games? I missed the entire Spurs game bc of a hangover. Thanks in advance.

He caught the Arsenal bug and became perpetually injured. He wasn't going to make it here because of his slight frame but he could do a job for a middle tier team anywhere in Europe.

His problem is that he loves slowing down play and generally is patient with his incisive passes. That won't work except with very specific possession based systems, so unless he can adapt, who knows where he will end up.

Hey stewbear I know you're lurking...how about that tennis ball drill? Will Wade and Heiar are comrades.

I like that back line, Debuchy has done well the last couple outings. Not sure why Calum is RWB but who knows what the hell Wenger is thinking.

Love seeing Jack and Olivier starting but is Giroud 100%? If not I'd rather see Welbz up top with Iwobi in his spot.

Giroud is playing. Good. Can at least count on the missus to watch...and be rather hot n bothered by halftime!

Half has been like our last Europa match, all the possession but hardly any scoring chances.

Debuchy conceding the penalty, I thought it was a penalty, and now I wonder if Wenger makes changes or not.

Wasn't pretty, but I'll take it. 92nd minute penalty.

That said, once Wilshere came on the pitch the match instantly opened up. He drives forward really well still.

Yea I like Wilshere next to Xhaka also. Jack can carry the ball through the midfield which none of our other CMs can. He is more disciplined positionally than Ramsey too. Plus I like Ramsey pushed up into the front 3. It makes us more balanced.

Changes everywhere. Looks like Gazidis' power play last season paid off. Life after Arsene looks promising.

Stolen from Reddit.

quote:

Wenger and Gazidis should be praised for this and their other appointments.
Raül Sanllehí - Head of Football Relations
Sven Mislintat - Chief Scout & Head of Player Recruitment
Darren Burgess - Head of High Performance
David Priestley - Dealing with the mental preparation for the players
Huss Fahmy - Head of Contract Negotiations
Richard Allison - Performance Nutritionist
Per Mertesacker - Head of Academy (Next season)
Jens Lehmann - First-Team Coach
Wenger and Gazidis have done incredibly fricking well here.

This, plus the move to 3 at the back....

My God, is Wenger actually becoming a catalsyt for change?
