Of course I would. In a sport full of raging pansies he is a model of professionalism. I don't know how anybody who grew up playing sports in America can not respect John Terry.

Yea you're right I'd much rather cheer for the floppers, primadonnas, and card brandishers that make up a majority of the sport than a guy who gives 100% everytime he's on the field, gets on to his own teammates for flopping, and pleads with the ref not to give out unwarranted cards to the other team after getting fouled. JT, as a footballer, is pure class.

Yea cheating on your wife is not admirable but if that's how you selected your favorite athletes the pool to pick from would be very small. On the field Terry is everything you could want in a professional.

In 358 matches he has had four reds. I don't know how old that stat is, but Terry has rarely been sent off. As far as straight reds? Cmon, troll away Dandy.

seems it's happened twice in CL (I'm not counting accumulation of yellows). I admit, I may be wrong, but it seems correct to me.

Puyol>Terry. In pretty much every facet of the game, except maybe aerial ability, which is overrated to begin with.
Terry is a fine stopper, but he isn't fast enough to play in a team where they have to play a high line, nor is he good enough on the ball to play in a high tempo team. Nesta has been a better defender for his whole career than Terry, but he doesn't get his knob slobbered on this forum for some reason.

Sergio Ramos gets more reds in a month than Terry has in his career. Puyol should have seen straight red in the World Cup Final.
