I don't want to see Brazil win. Because Neymar.
Neymar's still a transfer away from Barca, Real or Man U from drawing my ire but I hope Brazil gets upset as well.
I'm on the Japanese bandwagon.

Japan was very impressive.
Until they purposely didn't score in the last game.. (actually the womens team, but yeah)

I wish they would've used their over-23 allowance.
As an USMNT fan I can't help but be jealous of their ability to develop so many players with such silky control when just one or two more of those types would help us so much.

Wait, what happened? I haven't been able to pay attention due to being at work all week.

The japanese manager started 4 of his starters (not a big problem if he was already in the knockout rounds) but was monitoring the simultaneous game and told his women not to score (they were playing South africa, the worst team in the tourney) because he wanted a draw. He admitted it post match.
If he won he would have had to travel to Glasgow instead of stay, and also would have had to play either US or France (two of the best sides in the tourney)
ETA: It's not nearly as bad as the badminton players throwing the match, but still fits under the same reasoning the badminton players got for being DQ'd

enjoyable match here. Agree with you guys on Sturridge. He doesn't need to be a lone striker. His vision is lacking.
