Are there a ton of people on this board that live in atlanta or something?

Seems like a lot of posts about their team. It's fine and all, just odd because Atlanta in general isn't known as a sports town. So i'm surprised at the dispropriate amount of posts about them.

Well, it's by FAR the closest MLS team to me, so I'm pretty excited.

Huge announcement! Can't wait for him to get started.

This club seems to be making all the right moves. I think the first season will go pretty well for them and it helps that the East is weaker.

It's the South's team and there are a shite ton of season ticket holders within 4 hours of Atlanta. Lots of folks from AL, TN, SC, and NC.

I'm in Montgomery and one person in my building at work has season tickets.

I know a guy here in Nashville that has them. Not sure if he's going to keep them for 2018 since that's then Nashville SC will join USL.

does he also have access to a private plane? because that is nuts.

I'm not telling people what to do with their money but how is that even reasonable? Did he get them for free through his work or something?

He does travel a lot for work but I'm not sure how often he goes to Atlanta. I'm planning to see atleast 2 games a season.

Yeah, I know multiple people with multiple tix. Stuff is selling super well. Now the process to go after Guardado again begins. The rumors have flip flopped on him coming in the winter or finishing the season with PSV even though he's been left out of the team a couple times lately. Could just be rest though.

Looks like season tix open to public. Glancing at all open sections...maybe about 1,000 tickets for taking? Not sure if they are holding back for groups or single games at all but stadium looks like it will be full for the lower bowl config.

Martino is a fantastic hire for Atlanta United. Most foreign managers have not faired well in MLS but Patrick Vieira at NYCFC shows that they can be successful. Martino is known as a developer of talent, a good teacher. He should fit well with the club.

Is there a number on season tickets sold? I seem to remember the number being very impressive, possibly trailing only Seattle.

Best of luck to Atlanta United.

I really like that roundel too.
