The fact that so many people, news media, announcers, etc would get this bent out of shape over her holding up her shirt crest and shhing an abusive crowd is hilarious.
It truly is little man syndrome that is still alive and well with a lot of canucks. But thats very Canadian of them.

I'd understand completely if rossi shushed us after scoring, I wouldn't enjoy it or anything but it wouldn't surprise me at all

She handled it like a child, and then whined about it afterward that people were mean to her.
Poor Sydney.
A. She shushed the crowd.
B. She had an obvious intent in showing the badge. It was a statement of, "Look, Canada, I'm playing for America. frick you."
All she needed to do was go run to her teammates and celebrate with them.
Instead, she taunted the crowd, and then whined about it after.
I don't have anything personal invested in it. But she doesn't deserve an "appreciation thread" for being a bad representative of U.S. soccer.

I do hope you realize that a sports match is not the same as a gathering for afternoon tea.
