Yeah I tore my meniscus 3 years ago, I was playing 2 weeks later but with a bit of a limo, probably wasnt fully healed for a while longer.

Although I obviously didnt get the treatment he will

Side note: Its incredible how much a bum knee can effect your sex life

Why? Because I don't feel sorry for a habitual POS and a more habitual cheat who might be getting exactly what he deserves?

He wouldn't think twice about flopping and trying to get another player red carded out of the tournament but I'm supposed to feel bad for him that he might miss it?

He really has been an iron man for us in his time at LFC.. I can't recall him missing one single minute of a match due to injury... but all that non stop playing has to take a toll and one day something will give..

I'm a little torn between wanting to see it heal properly over the summer and him showcasing his talent in the WC... football fans around the world deserve that...

But, if there is even the slightest chance, he will be on the pitch.. thats just who he is

You are correct in that his diving and play-acting is deplorable, and you'd be hard pressed to find Pool fans defending that type of behavior.

That being said, celebrating an injury, no matter the player, under the guise of he 'got what was coming' is pretty disgusting, even coming from you.

Stay golden Ponyboy.

not me and I think its pretty amazing that he will be able to bounce back and play in the WC after this latest setback... says a lot about his dedication to his rehab..

I agree with this. There is a Villa poster on here that will tell you he hopes that Ramires gets his leg broken every time he plays. All over one mistimed challenge.

Why?

Considering you know this...

to be true.

Why is it "disgusting" be happy a player like that may miss the tournament?

There's plenty of people that I don't like that are much less likely to embarrass the sport and cause a match to end in disgrace.

yeah, but he's the ultimate and IF he does something like that... you cam come on here and crow about it and demand a public flogging... or hanging..

I think it's counterproductive to your psychological well being this summer... just being a concerned fellow SB poster...

Nah, I'd get much more satisfaction out of him missing the World Cup occurring in his prime.

One shouldn't judge a man's entire character (especially a South American man) based on the way he plays soccer.

You breezily call him a "POS" as if you are qualified to make that assessment, and then jump from that to saying he deserves an injury that could be devastating to his and an entire country's sports dream.

Your statements in this thread are worthy of condemnation. You should feel bad.

It would really suck if he missed out. Uruguay is a side I enjoy watching.

As to the total tool in this thread, you really are a deplorable human being.

Well when I'm talking about him participating in soccer games his character on the field is the only thing I care about.

Again, in the context of the situation I am well qualified to make that assessment. He's a POS on the field which is why I'd love not to see him on it.

What do I care about the country of Uruguay's dreams? The fact his dreams may be devastated are exactly what I'm happy about.

No surprise your attention whoring self would defend the greaser.

It's quite remarkable the prevailing attitude is that the POS who would gladly, and unjustly, end someone else's World Cup opportunity is being defended but I'm the POS.

Seriously, how do you people wrap your heads around this kind of thinking? And where do you people exist in real life?

Who has he got sent off?? What has he done on the pitch in that regards, that 99% of other players haven't done or won't do? Your hypocrisy and tunnel vision on him is simply amazing...

I get that you and others don't like him, fair enough.. he's done enough to warrant that..

If anything, he has done way more harm to himself, via stupid acts, than anyone else...

Wishing injury on anyone is ridiculous and shows lack of character and maturity. Frankly, it's disgusting.
