Essien is just on loan. Will be interesting to see what he does at Chelsea next season.
Wouldn't mind an LFC bid for Coentrao or Di Maria.

Essien was considered washed up, if I´m not mistaken. Hence the loan.
Yeah, it will be interesting. I think he played well in the second leg of the CL semis.
He´s up in years, and had a horrid knee injury in 2009 or 10, did he not?

He's still pretty washed up. He has only really impressed me in a Madrid shirt once or twice. Otherwise he is just there filling in at RB.

He has had three bad knee injuries in the last 4-5 years and looked way off the pace when he finally did come back to the team toward the middle/end of last season.
I thought he was finished but the few times I have seen him play for Madrid I thought he did well and would be a great squad player for Chelsea to have next year.
