They weren't even cleats but indoor shoes. I wore them to school for about a month then realized how fricking ugly they were and threw them in the closet. Gonna have to go to my parent's and see if they in the attic.

FYI for anyone in need of cleats, soccer.com and worldsoccershop.com are running a big sale on New Balance Tekela 1.0 and Furon 4.0. Both well received/reviewed, especially the Tekela.

Soccer.com is brutal for me, it’s basically the wish list source for my son. The black Tekelas are very similar looking cleats to the Nikes my son wears.

I remember you posting those in another thread. If you don’t already, go follow Soccer Reviews 4 U (SR4U) on all social media platforms. He keeps a regular list of sales and discount codes on his website that could keep you from paying the full $275 retail for top end cleats.
Out of the 7 pairs of cleats I’ve bought since last year, I haven’t paid more than $150 for any of them and they are all top end models that retail for $200+.

Hey are there any products to cut down on cleat smell, that actually work? My son’s cleats smell like cat piss. Really, really bad.
He played 5, 70 minute, games last weekend...plays center mid and never subs, and I pulled his cleats out of his bag this morning...holy shite. Last pair I would just run through the washing machine, now I guess we just have to deal with it.

Nothing that I know of. Main thing is to not let them stay moist. When I get home from games/pick up, I take them out of the bag to let them dry out. Could maybe try some sort of foot powder to put in while they dry. Good luck with that
And yeah, I’m an addict. Partially bc I couldn’t get sizing right. Of those 7, one pair broke and three were too big, so I’m at 3 usable pairs now. Probably just rotate them week to week.
ETA: if anyone wants a good deal on gently used Puma EvoPower Vigor’s or Nike Tiempo Legend VI’s - let me know. Both size 9.5.

A couple faves from my illustrious playing career. If you see a short guy step on the pitch in some old Total 90s best check yourself because you are about to get dealt.
I still play in my 90s, but prefer fit and feel of addidas. Going to snag some new ones soon.

I never had a pair bu remember when those T90’s came out everyone had them. One of the classics. Awesome that yours have held up too.

Don’t think superfly’s are douchey...really like the color too. Though you just missed a massive sale on them.

Same but the upper and feel looks like it would be amazing, close to Tiempos.
Where did you see those sales?
I just don't like the new Tiempos or I'd get those.
I get where some of the Nike hate comes from but Tiempos are incredible. Not sure how anyone could dislike those.

I don’t care for the Tiempo Legend VII personally, not looks wise at least. I’ve been getting the Legend VI on eBay for $110, should consider that if you like those.
