I'm going to stay true to CL/Europa form...set the cap for Europa qualifiers at 48...top 2 in each group advance...the 3rd place teams from each table in the Champions League will move on to the knockout round of 32 in Europa.

Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for the always entertaining, semi-controversial, and star-studded draw for the 2012 TDSB Champions League.
There will be eight groups of four posters each. Each poster will go head-to-head with another poster in his group on match day. Like the beautiful game, wins will count as three points, draws will count as one point, and losers will get nothing at all in the table. After all three match days, the top two posters in each group will advance to the knockout round. If there is a tie for, say, second place, goal...er, vote...differential will decide it.
My plan is to have the eight third-place posters put into Europa League. (Nominations are going on now for that one.)
So, without further ado, here are the draws for this year's Champions League (we need an anthem)...
