south africa is a pretty big shithole
it's the best or 2nd best shithole in the super shithole that is sub-saharan africa, but that just makes it king of the shithole
The rape capital is running out of rape kits
"corrective rape" used to "cure" lesbians

SA-Brazil* (if they mess this up then they shouldn't get to host for a very long time)
You would think the kings of the WC would be a perfect choice to carry the SA banner, especially considering Brazil's growth as a country. However they seem to be struggling a bit. Their economy slowed down and there have been some sizable protests in Brazil.
In a nutshell what is happening is that regular Brazilians are going to work everyday on a crappy rundown public transportation systems to a crappy job while passing by these monumental infrastructure projects needed to host the WC built by their tax money as ordered by corrupt government officials.
At least that is the impression I got from the handful of articles I have read.
