I'll be honest, I'm new to the sport and gained interest exponentially since SKC got their stadium done a few years ago...

Up till now I only root for skc but I am looking to expand my horizons to the european game for the mls offseason.

My heritage is mostly italian and I do qualify to be a citizen their in the future if I ever wanted to. I also heard that the italian game is a lot of attacking which i like. here is the qualifications for my support....

italian(serie a, b, or c) +++++++++++
kick arse kits and logo +++++++++
Underdogs/non-mainstream +++++++
SKC/Attacking style +++++
Good youth system +++++
England(EPL -> L1) ++
German(BL) ++
Nike sponsored ++
Anything Else
Russian --
Spanish --
Real Madrid/Barca -----
Celtic -------
Chelsea --------
Zenit -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks

Your source is an idiot, just putting it nicely. Have you have the term catenaccio?

Inter is leading Serie A and have scored 22 goals in 16 games. Attacking soccer for sure

AS Roma or Fiorentina...and they're the top two teams in goals scored for Serie A this season.

Borussia Monchengladbach. Current team of Americans Fabian Johnson and Mario Rodriguez. Former Team of Michael Bradley and Kasey Keller. Kits are made by Kappa. Team nickname is the foals. Had some great success in the 1970's, and was back in the Champions League for the first time in a long time this year. They play in 54,000 seat Borussia Park.

Theres a saying "defend like the italians".

That said, Roma fo sho. Or Inter, theyre back to relevance after a brief hiatus.

Don't choose Fiorentina. I'm a Fiorentina fan and since you just insulted Zenit, I don't want us rooting for the same team.

Where? If most of your family is from a certain city, it would probably make sense to follow that city's club.

that's a good question...

I share the same last name as a sicilian lawyer from the 90's who faught against the mafia and had a lot of his family killed for the cause. He was also murdered before a trial and is now a hero who has his own holiday in that area along with a couple schools and hopistals... I think he mostly lived in palermo.

I also share the same last name as a dc comics mob boss. Who is also nicknamed "the roman".

As far as location... there is a village near messina on the northeastern coast of sicily that is my last name.

and holy shite i just found out there is a player with my last name who plays for catania and looks pretty skilled. He grew up in lecce.

and then another player in savona..

and info on these clubs?

I don't exactly know where my great-grandfather moved from... he was a stoaway in the 1930's and never talked about when he got here...

Gladbach also has a great story going on this year. Lost their first 5 games of the season, the beloved manager steps down (Lucien Favre), U-23 manager (Andre Schubert) named the interim manager, team goes ape shite on everyone, goes 10 league games without losing, currently in 5th place, Schubert's interim tag is removed.

so they've reached rock bottom... i don't mind rooting for a team like that. It would be fun to see a team journey from a lower league to the top.

wow this logo looks horrible tho...

their unis are ok i guess

stadium is

city doesn't look bad at all

the unis and brands ive seen so far in italy outside the big clubs are all REALLY meh
