I agree with Grant Wahl's tweet...villains can be enjoyable to watch if they're compelling (Balotelli). But Pepe is no Balotelli.

Couldn't agree more with this. I don't have that much of a problem with yellow card accumulation though.

There was a lot of outcry on various medias today about Yellow card accumulation keeping players out of a final.

Yellow card accumulation isn't bad in theory but the biggest club football game of the year is gonna be between reserve teams at this rate

Agreed, it works in the WC but they reset after so many games. I'm not fully educated on the CL accumulation rules, but the way analysts were talking, the rules are much different and stupid.

No problem with the away goal being a factor in ET. Somewhat makes up for the home team having having home field in ET
