The level of defending in La Liga is no where near as good as the prem. Not to mention the quality of teams from top to bottom is better.

i think weather and physicality are the 2 bigger factors

one of my main arguments for years re: CR7 > Messi has been CR7 is much more versatile and can play in more leagues/systems

he's better in the air, bigger, and was faster at his peak. he also has a track record in England where he dominated

Suárez goes down easier than Messi. Much more.

He would likely miss more time as well w/ injury if he were in the prem.

This is bs

He takes a beating every week. Did you miss El classico?

Yeah he took a beating and still won the game

He would do the same thing in the EPl. He wouldn't miss time because the league was to "physical"

i think this is an argument in the "Messi would have trouble with the physicality of the EPL" camp

he'd either start to dive more or get a lot more injured. he doesn't have the frame to sustain that style of play in the EPL

Ronaldo has done it in two leagues, two teams, and internationally.

I'd take either on my team no question but I'd lean Ronaldo if I had to choose.

This. Ronaldo has won it all. The man is a wrecking machine and the numbers back it up. In the air he is by FAR the best ever and he has done it for multiple teams. ..

Messi is great, but I would lean ronaldo because of versatility and attitude of competitive nature.
That being said we should all enjoy what we are watching each week with cr7 and messi.

These guys don't come around often and right now we are getting two of the best ever at the same time
