How big is Michigan Stadium these days? I figure the current attendance record for a soccer game in America is at the Rose Bowl.

they held 115000 for a game (it was ND this year, which I went to).
It'll break the RB record. I do wonder if the football field is too small for soccer, I always thought that was an issue (but they might have room on the sidelines to get by).

quote:Yep. Saw Bulgaria-Sweden there, it was full (in spite of being the consolation match), due to all the corporate sponsorships. Got sunburnt as hell.

Brazil-Italy must have been 93K plus, is my guess.

Dude, the Levante (Valencia, Alicante, etc.) is a weird as hell region.
Those mofos are in each others faces, constantly. Backstabbers. Vociferous as well.
They say it´s the Phoenician in their blood.
Whatever the case, they´ve got some good looking women, who are generally slutty as hell, and the men are assholes.
frick all brilliant at negotiating, and many a good attorney has come from there, but man, for my taste, you have them.
That´s all you need to know about that area.
Ah, it´s very, very normal to see these bastards eating with beer (instead of wine).

The playing field is prolly gonna be fairly narrow, because I believe there isn't much room on the sidelines for football games and so there will be even less for this.
A couple of these ICC games are going to be in the same city and the same day as MLS games, obviously in different venues, so that is kinda shitty.

Is an MLS team taking part in this? I figure SKC would since they are the current champs.

No. It's probably best too since there will already be a lot of fixture congestion in the summer because of the WC

RM has some solid players who aren´t absolutes, and Manu will have a lot of players who haven´t played in the WC. Should still be entertaining.

Things like this kinda make me wished we had a traditional schedule

I think the comment about schedule was concerning a MLS club not playing because their summer schedule is messed up in WC years?
As for European clubs, I think all the WC regulars will be back for the August fixtures and probably play about the same amount as usual in the pre-season friendlies.
AS Roma's in this too. Think they have Real Madrid, Man U and then Inter in the "group stage".
