I want JK fired, but that is an absurdly one-sided look at his tenure from a guy that has seemingly been anti-JK since before it really made sense to be.
Cry me a river. We were defensive after taking a 1st minute lead against a team with 8 starters who play with EPL, Serie A, and Bundesliga clubs and brought KPB and Michael Essien off the bench? And we won the game? And for this we should be critical of JK?
And then we didn't dictate play to Portugal, Germanu, and Belgium? What exactly did anyone expect? Of that's right, they expected us to finish 3rd or worse in the group.
He has made some baffling call-up and positioning decisions, and I think he has lost his way, but it's not his fault we don't have great players, which is the real reason we aren't as proactive as everyone would like.
A new manager would make better use of (and be more realistic about the capabilities of) the players we do have, and do a better job of setting up the team, so JK needs to go.
But we still aren't going to be able to dictate play against Germany or even Mexico when Mexico is in form.

When the Yanks defeated Ghana at the World Cup, the team scored in the first and last minutes of the game to secure the win. The 90 minutes in between saw the United States bunkering and chasing the ball against a proactive opponent that dominated possession and created most of the chances
