No, they have spend to bring in as much star power as possible, with little to no regard for how those pieces fit.

I don't care how much you spend, honestly. If you have money, spend it. I'm just saying when you spend 224 million on a single player and nobody else in your league spends that on a whole team, winning that league isn't viewed as much of an accomplishment. Winning tEurGOATpa would be a bigger accomplishment tbh.

Viewed that way by who? Again why should the opinion of an American who watches no French football matter at all when talking Ligue 1?

Do you watch MLS? Because you sure have a lot of opinions about it to be calling people out for having options on Ligue 1

I have an opinion about the way MLS is run, and yes I do pay a lot of attention to that because I care about soccer in this country. But no I don’t have a strong opinion about the league on the field, though I do watch some here and there.

L1 is definitely down

Florian Thauvin and Wahbi Khazri were among the better players in the league this year. Emiliano Sala was just outside the top 10 in goals for the year.

Every club outside PSG is a seller. Lacazette was sold. Aubamayeng was sold. And this year Pepe will be sold.

Not arguing that, arguing that Spain and England are the only two domestic leagues that matter.

Also gap between L1 and Serie A/Bundesliga is not that big & they have dominance at the job just as bad as PSG
