But that just reinforces the point. The ones you named as similar all have turf.

God damn, I'm tired. I don't want to turn this game off though.

The only issue is that the Sounders and Whitecaps don't own their stadiums outright.

They lease it from the city like most American sports franchises, and/or have in-place agreements with their co-tenants, the Seahawks in the Sounders' case.

Pretty much all European teams own their individual stadiums.

The only thing keeping me awake is my passion for spreading the message to everyone that Messi shouldn't have won the Golden Boot

I'd say that tag belongs on Galaxy far more than Seattle.

Yea. That's a legitimate reason.

Yeah or DC. Seattle hasn't even been in MLS that long and have no league titles.

Obviously I'm on that bandwagon. I'm pretty laid back, so it takes a little to move my needle enough to actually start a thread.

MLS doesn't play in winter is my point.

What? From supporting the hell out of their team on a massive scale?

Man, I wish FCD games could pull a consistent 20k, never mind the numbers Seattle gets.

I'd gladly deal with the higher odds of running into a dickbag if it meant the stadium was sold out and rocking.

How could you not like a team whose supporters' group is called Gorilla FC?

Yeah, if the Yankees, Cowboys, and Heat never won a league championship.

Ballgame

I just wanted to watch a good game with an awesome atmosphere in the states...and also for it to NOT end in a 0-0 so the casuals wouldn't have that to bitch about

I almost did with the price drop. But it's online only right? And has to use flash player?

I rarely use my PC for anything but work. Everything else i do on my phone. And I need to be able to record games. Maybe DTV will give me a deal on the MLS package.
