Looks like a Bond villain. Name sounds villain-ish too.

As far as someone who has probably been underrated their entire career, I present "le petit velo," Mathieu Valbuena.

From MLS:

Bobby Boswell: GOAT Nickelodeon Guts Contestant-cum-MLS Defender

John Busch: GK San Jose

Sean Franklin: RB DC United formerly of LA Galaxy

Basically anyone who ever played for the Houston Dynamo not named Will Bruin or of Jamaican descent. This would have included Brad Davis, until Jonathan Klinsmann and him conspired to destroy Landon Donovan and get 50 fricking minutes of playing in the World Cup.

ETA: Also disregard that fatass Mexican DP they signed named Luis Angel Landin

Diego Valeri is probably good enough for quality European football, but didn't really do anything while on loan at Porto and Almeria.

I think Ivanovic is a bit overrated to be honest. Good in the air, but doesn't impress me as an outside back, although to his credit he had a couple big goals last season. Is a bit too hot-headed for me as well.

From the 3 teams I follow:

Cesar Azpilicueta starts off my list. Chelsea Players' POY last season but to me he could be one of the best fullbacks in the world.

Miralem Pjanic

Matt Besler (don't think people give him ENOUGH credit)

Of all the players on the US, especially now that Kyle Beckerman has really gotten the attention he deserved, I would have to say Geoff Cameron. He has impressed me since his days with the Dynamo. Watching Stoke's games ( ) I can honestly say that he is one of the better RBs in the league. His service is solid and he has ball control at the level of most EPL central midfielders.
