What's the possibility that he's the main free kick or pk taker for sunderland? I honestly think that could cause a 3-4 goal difference after his bomb yesterday.

I look for him to net 12-15. Any less and I would consider it disappointing. Any more and I would consider it brilliant.

I think a frame of reference is needed for this thread. The EPL had 27 double digit goal scorers in league play in 2012-2013. Only 1, steven fletcher, played for sunderland. Sunderland was also 18th in goals scored with just 40.

From my understanding they picked up the goal scoring rate a good bit with Canio.

I think they'll definitely score more as a team, but I just thought it was interesting to see where they stood last year

It's interesting. 16 of the 20 PL teams had at least one goal scorer in double digits, including Sunderland where fletcher had 11 before hurting himself in march and not playing the rest of the season. Towards the end of the season under di canio Sunderland really started playing some good attacking football and in the transfer window they only strengthen their team. If Jozy was going to be their every game primary target man I'd say 13 would be a reasonable o/u. Personally I'd bet on 15 myself. However considering he'll split time and opportunities with fletcher I think 9 the appropriate o/u in this case

In all competitions, over 16.
I think he will be right around 14 or 15 PL goals. I really hope I'm low balling it though.
If he continues this form throughout most of the season then I think he will be a couple over 16 in the PL.
