I love to see us get Ottmar Hitzfeld off of Switzerland or Bielsa, although Klinsmann is better than just accpetable, as well.

Hiddink is locked up, isn't he?
Would he be willing to be here for four years?

He's taking over for Turkey, who should be doing better on the world stage to be honest w/ you. Can't wait to see that product.

This is the 2008 U-23 Player Pool.

U-23s

And the 2010 U-20 pool.

U-20s

If you look at the US senior (full) national team player pool, the ages of a lot of our players is downright scary.

It's conceivable that the only three players from today's starting lineup that won't be there are Cherundolo (certainly), DeMerit and Bocanegra (probably). In addition, looking at the full 23 man roster for the World Cup, you can only add Hahnemann (certainly) and Buddle (probably) as being too "old" for the WC in 2014.

Player Pool

I'd hate to be a Heath Pearce/Brad Evans/Eddie Gaven/Robbie Rogers type, knowing that you're sniffing the team, but you've got 60 players playing for 4 or 5 spots on the next World Cup team.
