Pretty damn good actually.

How's looking up at our arse in the PL? Taste good?

I know you’re taking the piss, but Europa has been good to us. Allowed new players to bed in and gives starters a much needed break which should help come May

7 points against MC, Chelsea, and Arsenal without giving up a goal.

Tried googling a “get fricking in” gif, and it didn’t give me the results I was looking for...BUT they were solid results nonetheless.

Starting XI vs Antwerp

quote:

Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Tanganga, Davies, Reguilon, Winks, Lo Celso, Lucas, Bale, Vinicius.

Looking like a 5-2-3? Or 3-4-3?

Dele on the bench should be making an appearance as well

Looking forward to seeing Doherty as a wingback. Think he's more accustomed to that role from his Wolves days.

Also, I really like the fact that Davies is the Europa League captain.

Bale with an incredible free kick off the bar and put home by Viniscus

Can't wait to see Bale burying those in March/April in the PL

Starting XI

quote:

Lloris (C), Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Son, Kane.

Bale out with illness. NOT Covid related

Hoping we don’t come sluggish vs Crystal Palace. I’m expecting them to come at us fairly hard to open the match

Honestly surprised Mourinho roled out this starting XI.
Was half expecting some changes today with the Liverpool match on Wednesday.

Assuming Toby gets subbed off 1st

Followed by Kane or Son if the game is in hand

A loss to Everton, I’ll accept that, they are a decent team.

Then we have a draw with Newcastle with the penalty that shouldn’t have been.
Then We give up a 3 goal lead to West Ham.
Then we we draw this game. That’s way too many points left on the table against teams we should be getting 3 points from.

The West Ham game was the worst by far. Guita stood on his head today for Palace in goal. It sucks, but it happens.

Bit of a reality check.

Yeah extremely tough loss

Soooo close to getting a point at Anfield. Once again conceding goals on corners and set pieces will be our downfall
