What's gonna happen tomorrow, boys?

Gonna be one of these super keeper games. This is a game I think Tanguy would dominate.

That was pure shite.

So expected you knew with all the great saves and posts they were gonna get a goal. Just thought it was gonna be a scrappy goal and not some BS like that

Yep, but I can stomach giving up a legit goal at the end. They did nothing to deserve that goal. I’m pretty certain it was their strategy to just try and do anything to get a handball there at the end. Seemed like every time they were in the box near the end of the match they were screaming for a handball call. I don’t blame Newcastle. I blame the shitty rule....and frick that ref for throwing out a red card after the match was over.
Kudos to Jose on his restraint in the post match interview.

Who got the red?
Not sure. I saw him hold one up as he and the 2 assistants were standing shoulder-to-shoulder on the pitch. It looked like Davies may have gotten it....but nothing is showing on the PL site. I swear I saw him hold up the card though.
EDIT: Some of the fan comments on Instagram seem to point to the GK coach being shown red after the match.

And I’m reading now that Jose said Son has a hamstring injury which is why he was subbed.

Incredibly frustrating game. The game could’ve been done and dusted in the first half, but unable to put it away. As for the handball shite, Credit to Steve Bruce for speaking out against it even though it worked in their favor today.
I hope Son injury isn’t too bad, but the problem is the fixtures are so congested at the moment even a week off for him means he misses a shite ton of games. Terrible timing.

Holy shite.
I usually try not to get worked up on results, but that ending was ridiculous.
Nevermind the atrocious handball decision, the original foul to give away the freekick wasn't even a foul. If anything Joelinton fouled PEH. Absolutely pitiful from the ref, David Coote.

With that being said, I thought Spurs played well. Winks and Hojbjerg worked well in the midfield and the defense literally gave Lloris nothing to do. If anything, Kane/Son/Dier could've been more clinical in their finishing.

Don’t watch Callum Wilson’s post match comments then. I wanted to destroy him.

What a count.
Roy Hodson and Steve Bruce's interviews were class. Roy is old enough to not give a damn and has seen everything and you can tell he's over this nonsense.

I'm sure y'all will be excited to hear this garbage
Son is hurt...again

Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the Premier League and is now set to miss the clashes with Chelsea and Manchester United.

Hopefully this result fuels us moving forward. Was very happy to see Winks have a good match. When he actually pushes forward he can be pretty good at it. Just seems like some games he doesn’t have the confidence so just plays back and side to side.
Sucks about Son as well but we were playing that guy nonstop so only a matter of time. Hopefully we can get Harry some rest tomorrow.

I think Dele’s time with Spurs May really be done. After Jose basically said he really won’t try much to win the League Cup, he doesn’t even name Dele to the squad for today’s clash w/ those frickers.
Posted on 9/29/20 at 10:29 am to GeauxColonels
I like Dele as a person but I really think it’s best for both sides that he gets a change of scenery. Could rejuvenate his career while giving us much needed $$ to start bankrolling more of Jose’s transfers
And as far as League Cup I’m with Jose as long as he tries for the FA Cup. More prestige and notoriety with that one anyway

I agree with this. City will probably go all out for the Carabao Cup so that Pep can save his job anyway.

Today’s lineup. While it’s great to see tanganga back, ndombele starting and reguilon with his debut I just have no idea where goals will come from with Kane and son out. I expect we get rolled tbh. I don’t see Gedson, ndombele & sissoko working hard enough in the midfield to come close to controlling it, and fat frank put out a solid squad. I think it’s going to be a long day for the backline.
