I'm still glad Spurs brought him back, but no way should they get him on loan against next season.
It is hard for me to believe that he is somehow worse than the level Spurs are getting from their other attacking options or that he would not have added to the match by coming on late at the end yesterday. Pull Sissoko or Davies off in the 80th and see what happens.
Clearly he can't give anywhere close to a full 90 but we are being led to believe that he isn't even worth throwing on in a last ditch effort to steal a point.
Spurs are paying players a shite ton of money to play like they are a bottom of the table team.

Winks and Dele were both pitiful. Hojbjerg also had a terrible match.
I thought Doherty and Davies were okay. Lamela was a bright spot.

I didn't think Dele was necessarily bad, he just didn't do anything. Winks was legit bad, brought the team down when he came on.

If that is gonna be a penalty every time just give City the trophy. What a joke. Ilkay loses control stumbles into Hojberg and they get a penalty from it.
We actually had some space to cause problems in that half, but we give the ball away as soon as we get it. Lamela’s energy is great, but his decision making is just terrible.

I checked out after the second goal. First time I've done that for a Spurs match in awhile. Maybe since the last matchday against Newcastle in 2016.

I’ve got to be honest with myself at this point. We are just not a good team. We’re terrible at defending and equally terrible going forward. We don’t do a single thing well and to top it off play some of the most negative football week in and week out. This is gonna be a long and painful rebuild to get back to challenging for the top 4.

I expected nothing and got nothing. This game didn’t bother me we’re still in the running for top 4 I think we have the quality to get there. A few new signings over the summer and we’re in good shape for next season
