I'd take Dunivant and Bornstein -- yeah, I frickin said it -- over Morrow. I'm a Quakes fan, and he's been good for us, but this isn't the right time.

THenry, I cite our tweet-versation of last week with shin guardian.

Dunivant would be fine. I think Pearce offers a touch more going forward.

I'd take Sean Franklin over Beltran at RB, given the choice.

frick, I'd probably take James Riley over Beltran.

Is Beltran worth a shite? I need to watch more MLS. Man frick, play a 3-5-2 and put Cameron at DM.

----- Gonzalez ---- Goodson ---- Besler ----------

------------------ Cameron -----------------------

------------- Bradley --- Jones ------------------

Zusi ------------------------------------- Beasley

------------------ Dempsey -----------------------

------------------- Jozy -------------------------

God... that would fricking suck.

Our defensive pool is almost completely injured yet Klinsmann still doesn't have to resort to Chad Marshall or Danny "Barely good enough for TFC" Califf.

Eventually Cameron, Besser and Gonazales are going to have to learn to player because there our three best true defenders in our pool. Johnson and Chandler are both converted midfielders.

He's a pretty big step down from even a Jonny GaySpecs.

Formation doesn't matter. I assume JGE will try to play Edu-Jones-Bradley in midfield, with width provided from the outside backs.

This will leave Saborio and Ruiz running in behind the midfield at an inexperienced and slow afoot CB tandem.

If we lose Friday, I hope Sunil has Bruce Arena on standby in the Alert 5 aircraft.

. I hope to see a dramatic change from Sacha if he gets on the pitch. I believe Sacha's style of play does not fit what Jurgen is trying to do at all.

Yeah, because he's a CM and Jurgen plays him as a winger.

You mean Johnson? Fabian is a good left back. Attacking is his strength but he's good enough defensively. Chandler looked like arse last cap but he's not a bad defender for the most part.

-------Dempsey-------
-Zusi-------------Bradley
--------;Jones-------

To test my jozy theory

The thing with Bob Bradley is he got results with what today would look like completely shitty lineups. We won qualifiers with Chad Marshall, DMB at left back and old man Pablo Mastroeni as our defensive midfielder.

Even with this depleted squad, he still has more talent than some of Bradley's qualifying and Gold Cup squads. Klinsmann gets fired if he only gets 1 point from these two games.

If we lose Friday, I'll begin preparations for the second attempt of Jonestown.

This is my plan now. I am starting to get seriously nervous. Long road but damn we need some points.

Jozy and Boyd together would make for a good pairing. I like the idea of the chemistry those 2 could develop together.

Too bad Jurgen couldn't bring Jogi with him. Bob was good at getting the most out of his roster. He's a lot more astute than Jurgy.

That jozy needs to run off another striker for his game to work, boyd would work for a hold up player that allows altidore to make those runs etc

Eddie Johnson is 3rd all time in WCQ goals. Tied with McBride. That sounds crazy.

Yea that seems to be the consensus opinion. Hopefully we get to see it.

I think GAM looked good against Honduras. I actually think our attacking and midfield will be good...our defense just looks to be all screwed up.
