I can guarantee you are not alone on that swap in outlook. Every scoured across the pond, and Reds worldwide, went about-face when this happened.

I must be in the minority, because I always looked forward to Europa league matches... I guess I just always enjoyed seeing us play teams outside of the status quo...
Now, sometime I could be indifferent if we crashed out, but with a UCL spot on the line the last two years, this tournament has upped the stakes IMO

Migs, Clyne, skrtel, sakho, Moreno, Allen, can, Milner, Lallana, coutinho, origi. Firmino and benteke make the bench. Very strong line up

Lallana has been by far our best player.

I feel you. I don't hate him, he's just not a top choice CB anymore. He only ever was for about 1-2 seasons.

SKrtel needs to be replaced at the break, but he's what we've got at the moment. Would have loved to seen Gomez out there with Sakho, but that's not an option now. Illori too.

Yeah, unfortunately he will probably be the first player replaced, but it is necessary. If only origi had a little bit better touch and awareness, we might have another goal. Gotta remember he's only 20. Can't wait to see what we look like with our first choice strikers. Lallana looks great these past two games

He still has a lot of time to improve. You can't teach his motor and enthusiasm.
Coutinho's touch is either incredible or shite. It is really frustrating. And lord his shooting is the same damn way.
