I hope we give everyone a rest this weekend.

Ibe - Firmino - Ojo
Allen
Lucas-Stewart
Smith-Skrtel-Toure-Flanagan
Ward

Wish Firmino could get a break, but not sure who we bring in for him? Sinclair?

Looks fine, but I would rather see Lucas next to Toure, rather than Skrtel. Maybe put Allen in with Stewart and have Brannagan in that advanced mid role.

Edit, also just realized that we have a 5 day gap after Newcastle before we face Villareal. Resting won't be nearly the issue it's been in previous weeks. Still think Ojo and Ibe get the start our wide. We will need some strength in the middle so I think Milner fits back in.

-----------Ward-----------
Smith-Toure-Lucas-Randall
----Stewart---Milner-----
----------Allen----------
Ojo-----Sturridge-----Ibe

Official LFC Statement on Sakho:

quote:

Yesterday, Friday 22nd April 2016, a formal communication was received from UEFA stating that they are investigating a possible anti-doping rule violation by Mamadou Sakho.

The player will respond to UEFA on the matter.

The player is currently not subject to any playing suspension. However, the club, in consultation with the player, has decided that while this process is followed the player will not be available for selection for matches.

There will be no further comment at this time.

Apparently some fat burner supplement? So fricking stupid

Same thing happens in NCAA. You have nutritionists and all that on staff for this reason. Run that shite by them to make sure it's ok and doesn't have any banned substances. Retarded

Not even a full minute in really! Studge with a GORGEOUS turning strike!

ETA: Now I feel like I can go get breakfast with no guilt of missing. I have it recording just in case though.

does he look like the type of guy who needs to take a fat burner??

He will probably be out 3 to 6 months if they use the standard they did when Kolo did the same thing.

it's hard to believe this is the same team that were spinning their wheels early in the season.

Lallana getting a goal like that should keep him playing really well. That score of his was a gorgeous, looping pass over the keeper.

Sturridge does look like he has a extra step today, but... Newcastle.

I was glad to see him just shoot and not try and twist and turn with the ball... it was a gorgeous shot...
