Looks like some leaks to the media are saying that we are definitly in the market for a GK to push Migs (supposedly several Germans on the list), Bentenke will be offered on transfer, etc.
I'm wondering how much the GK news is click bait after Migs letting in an easy goal, but I think there's likely some decision points that Klopp is reaching.

Just saw a report that Benteke rejected a move to China in January

I have seen a few reports that we are making offers on ter Stegen... Last I saw was 19 Mil. I don't know if the reports are accurate, but SURELY Migs has done enough to be under consideration for replacement. I don't mind keeping him on the side as a backup, but we really need a better keep.
And better defenders.
and better midfielders.
Ah frick it, scrap the team, save Studge (if he stays healthy)/Bob/Phil/Sakho.

Klopps shite comment was pure awesomeness. I love the guy. But its obvious down the back half of this campaign that we need about 3/4 of a new squad haha And BR wasted all that damn money
At least we have a manager with a vision for success, and a proven track record of positive results. That really is invaluable. Talent will come and go, but a consistent manager at the helm is key.

So our financials have been released - not too much to them, but its interesting that the main revenue streams all grew by 12% last year (commerical, game day, and TV). Some of those largely due to additional CL games, etc.
Whats interesting to me is that we have knocked down external debt from 250 to just under 50 in the last 6 or so years.
I would assume getting rid of the interest and principal from that would open up additional "revenue" for us to use in the near future, once its done being paid off? Thats an average of 40m a year principal (not including interest) we've been paying off of something the ownership got no benefit of (debt they inheirited from Hicks, etc.)
Am I reading that right?

I've been sold on ter Stegen for a while now... I think he'd be a solid replacement (keep Migs as the 2nd, ditch Bogdan).
Happy with the 19M price tag too, don't think that's an exorbitant amount

Is Sturridge hurt again?

I'd assume he's out because he just played 120 minutes on Sunday without playing in forever.

Studge played a long time during the final. He had cramps, so they are giving him the glass treatment.
I am excited to see how Origi, Lallana, and Firmino do as a top 3. Skrtel made the bench, Flanno is replacing Moreno at LB, Lovren is in for Sakho, and Toure is back in. Should be interesting to see how this lineup does against City. I think it will turn out better than last time around.

Weird, it looked to me like he only played 60 minutes on Sunday??
Good to see Flanno back, but I thought his quickness was lacking the last time we saw him, and I fear what Sterling will be able to do to him.

After Sunday I don't think ya'll have much to fear from him
Good luck today baws. Hopefully it's just as exciting today!

Atmosphere is legit tonight.

Think he took care of this fear in the first minute. It'll be interesting to see the rotation at FB the rest of the season.
