Reading some Ruben Neves rumors today. He of FIFA career mode legendary status. I'd prefer Keita but it seems like Leipzig refuses to sell. Neves would be a great consolation and would be great as a deep lying playmaker for us. He plays well beyond his years (only 20)
We'll battle Chelsea and Juve for his services if reports are to be believed.

Keita has allegedly told Leipzig he wants to go and we've initiated talks with the club...They want £70M and Southampton want £70M...Will that leave us anything for LB??

If we get those two then we'll be fine with Milner at LB and can address that in January. We don't even really have an expensive target at LB, none that've been rumored anyway

Saw Rafa Honigstein say Keita wants to leave. Honigstein has really good connections with Bayern. Dunno how close he's to Leipzig or the Red Bull organization. He's the Paul Joyce of German sports journalists.

RBL don't need the money, but they would be foolish not to sell to the highest bidder considering what they paid and his desire to leave the club

Yeah Honigstein also says Leipzig quoted an insane number thinking that Liverpool will walk away and that he expects Liverpool to walk away. But according to what Melissa Reddy is saying it seems Liverpool are actually considering it.

If he really does want to leave then they'll probably sell for an extra 10-15m this year while they can. That's if he really wants to leave though. Otherwise, I could see them playing hardball

Well the last three windows FSG has come out of pocket at zero dollars. It is time to step the frick up and get the man what he wants. Salah, Keita and VVD and wait until January to see what shakes out at LB. Those three would be a monster window for us. Take whatever you make in selling players off and get some depth with that money. It does appear that FSG nderstands that we need to spend right now though. Fingers crossed!!

Abso-fricking-lutely. Klopp has spent jackshit since he came in. We're in the black. Most managers are handed a cool hundred mil when they sign to build their team. Klopp is due around £250 mn (£100 mn from his first summer, £30 mn for each of the other 2 windows and around £100 mn for making UCL). And according to the echo we are hoping to recoup £100 mn in sales this summer. We should just go all out and build a team that will make others shake in there goddamn boots. frick em.

That might also the be the fact that I'm drunk already pregaming for LSU's baseball game
But adding Keita, VVD, and a natural, competent LB (no offense Millie) gives us a first XI and bench that can absolutely compete for the league. We'd still be lacking some depth, but those signings would be pretty big statements as far as intentions go

Yeah. frick it all. Let's build that damn team. Build that spine that will not buckle. Klopp has walked away from deals before because he thought they were overvalued (Texiera and Draxler). If him and "Super-nerd" Edwards are ready to sign off on it.

I'd be pleased with the backline too adding VVD and a respectable left back
