Neymar kicks a ball at the other team and headbutts someone - suspended 1 game
Dempsey tears up a ref's notebook and may be suspended for 3 months? That makes sense.

One is a US Soccer rule and the other is a regular FIFA rule that has been bent to accommodate a world soccer power. Apples and oranges my friend

I'm fine with that. He didn't show any force or abuse anyone. He grabbed a booklet and ripped it into pieces. No one could have been hurt in what Clint did.

Dempsey was suspended by MLS, not US Soccer. It is remain to be seen if US Soccer will do anything.
