Yeah... I have seen quite a few LFC matches, and the guy is a hellacious defender. As a person that loves to troll IRL instead of on message boards, I can appreciate Skrtel for fouling all the damn time. At the same time, it ruins the feel of the game for me. I feel I already have a close connection to how most LFC fans feel about their team.

England:
1) EPL
2) Championship
3) League 1
4) League 2
5) Skrill Premier
Top 3 in EPL are automatically included in the EUFA Champions League. #4 goes to a playoff to get into the Champions League. #5 gets an auto bid to the Europa League.
Bottom 3 in EPL get relegated to the championship and 3 teams from the championship get promoted. 2 auto promotions and the last spot is decided in a playoff (if I'm not mistaken)
The other leagues promote and relegate 4 teams a year (again, if I'm not mistaken)
Eta: the order depends on who you ask but the "best" leagues in the world are EPL, La Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Ligue 1 (France), and Serie A (Italy).
However, you can find decent teams in many other leagues.

I think my favorite player I have watched is on Arsenal. The white guy with Norman Reedus/Steve Nash type hair.

So that is generally what I was asking, but what makes a penalty or out of bounds play worth a certain result, i.e. a free kick, corner kick, things of that nature.
You would be best off trying to find a google image of that. It is pretty simple to understand.
Corner kick is awarded to the other team when you kick it behind your own goal.
Goal kick is awarded to the other team when you kick it past the other goal.
A throw-in is awarded to the other team when you kick it out of bounds on the sidelines.
A penalty is awarded to the other team when you foul a guy inside the large 18-yard box (only when they are in the box closer to the goal they are shooting at).
A free kick is awarded to the other team when you foul a guy outside the box. There are indirect and direct free kicks, but do not worry about that now. Indirect just means you cannot directly score off the free kick without it touching a teammate or opponent first.

So the the BPL has it's own level of pay, along with four competing levels below it. That makes sense.
I have always wondered how teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid fall into soccer on the European level. I always hear people in pissing matches (that I don't understand) about what is the best league in the world. Before I started watching in February, I thought all of Europe played each other.

Since you made the distinction b/w the two types of free kicks, offenses committed inside of the area to be penalized by an indirect free kick are just given as an indirect free kick. OP, you might not ever see that.

Rosicky! That is his name. I can't stop watching him play. I have damn near exhausted YouTube of their Rosicky highlights.
Thank you!
Eta: Duly noted, joey. I won't hold my breath for it. Lol

Haha! It may be. I don't think it is Tom Brady level hair though. I hate Tom Brady for one reason, and one reason only...
His hair is fricking FABULOUS, and there is nothing any man on the face of the planet can do about it.
Doesn't Rosicky wear the same type of hair band as the hippy/hipster chicks wear sometimes? I think that may be what made me focus on him. I didn't know hippies could be good at sports.

This. I know the MLS isn't the same quality but the atmosphere of being at a live game is really fun and Sporting Park is really top notch.
