Sounded like a pretty shitty attempt at recruiting. Maybe we should get Cal to do the recruiting for the USMNT and we wouldn't lose out on these guys. Yes, I just went there!!

I hate Rossi as much as the next guy. It's especially depressing when you think about our current striker situation.

Okay, it is a pretty good tune up for the WC. But then again the US obviously doesn't think to highly of it since we rolled up to the Gold Cup final with a Confed Cup berth on the line with our C squad.

The 2011 Gold Cup will determine who goes to the Confederations Cup. The 2009 edition was just another CONCACRAP money making scheme. For whatever reason Jack Warner and co. think it's a great idea to play this tourney every two years in front of half filled group stage stadiums in Columbus and LA.

I stand corrected. Still doesn't change my view of it though. It's cool that all the champs get together and play a tourney, but in the end it's still just a warm-up for the big game.

ARRRRRRGH! i just have to bring this back to the top. they site i go on daily actually has an american saying that we need to get over the fact that this dude is a traitorous sob. that it's our country's fault for not caring about soccer. it's bad enough having the euro snobs telling the few americans on that site that we aren't as good as them and we should get over this shite, but a fing american
