I like DeMerit, but he's 30. His only significant club experience is with mid-table, Championship team Watford(save for one year in the EPL) and he's a centerback on a very shaky American defensive side. Bradley, Donovan for sure. You can see Jozy's contributions if you watch the whole game, but he needs to knock one in to get noticed. DeMerit is not EPL-caliber, but I could see him coming to the MLS. Gooch is playing for AC for free next year.

Okay, it is a pretty good tune up for the WC. But then again the US obviously doesn't think to highly of it since we rolled up to the Gold Cup final with a Confed Cup berth on the line with our C squad.

F: Altidore, Dempsey

first off the bench: Torres, Clark, Cherundolo, Buddle, DeMerit

It's not Spain or Brazil, but this is a pretty decent starting 11 with some solid guys coming off the bench. I don't see why people are freaking about guys making camp that probably wont even make the trip... :dunno:
