Need Arsenal fans' opinions and input on next season

Longtime lurker who finally decided to sign up. Need some advice from you Arsenal fans.
I am planning a trip to the UK sometime next year. My SO is a die-hard Arsenal fan so I would like to surprise her with tickets to a game while we are over there.
Here is my dilemma - I know NOTHING about Arsenal or their schedule. I try to keep up with what is going on just to appease her but it really doesn't interest me at all. I need to know what the best match will be to get tickets to. I am willing to schedule the trip around the match. Also need advice on how to go about purchasing the tickets and any other advice you can give. TIA. Oh and

Pretty much any Premier League or Champions League game at Emirates Stadium would be worthwhile. The Premier League games are mostly on weekends and the Champions League games are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. The equivalent of an LSU vs ULM game (cheap tickets but less interesting) would be the League Cup or early FA Cup games. If you want to swing for the fences, Arsenal's biggest rival is Tottenham Hotspur.

Slop, to get tickets to the Arsenal games you need to each buy a membership, which is good for the whole season but also adds like 30 pounds each to the cost of the tickets (which are already high). The best way to find tickets is to purchase them online, either through resellers or from people selling their season tickets through things like the Arsenal Tickets facebook page. I would start looking there. I didn't actually end up going to a game but I could have gotten tickets if I wanted to pay 60 pounds for each (and they were playing Norwich, which isn't a big draw game).
The stadium tour was awesome, but self guided. You might be less interested if you aren't a fan of the team, but it's the nicest soccer stadium I've been to.

Thank you so much! My head was starting to spin reading that it's going to be damn near impossible for me to find any tickets. I will definitely start checking out forums and the Facebook page. Appreciate the help!
