Sunderland isn't even a mid table club.

I got to go to an AZ game when I was living in Europe and during the pregame warm ups Jozy looked like he was kind of lax with his effort. It's really hard to tell sometimes if he has an issue with effort or if it's just his Caribbean nature, as he has explained.

That said, while he looked lazy at times, he still looked like one of the better players and did the things he needed to do to dominate the small sided exercises.

Granted, last season looked good to all on this board, but the Dutch league is pretty bad. Really, in spite of stereotypes (which is what nearly 99% on this board go by).

Well the defenses at least. They seem very capable of churning out decent offensive players though. It's so hard to judge because you never know if an attacker in that league is good because of his talent or because of the group of traffic cones that make up the Eredivisie back lines.

Yeah they are. They are terrible this season, but historically that's where they would rank. They can have higher aspirations, as they have the fifth largest stadium in England.

They are below clubs like Aston Villa and Everton, but they are pretty much the definition of a lower mid table team.

That I can agree on, if we go with history here.

He was completely contained by a damned Sainsbury's grocer yesterday.

Sunderland sucks yes, but Jozy is in an epic drought. A defender and 5 midfielders have more goals than him atm.
