Here's to Leeds moving up. I want my feeder club back.

For anyone still following this thread, can you tell me where on Dish Network I can catch EPL games once the season begins in August?

Used to have dish but got rid of it. EPL will be carried on Fox Soccer Channel (have to get sports tier I believe) and ESPN2
I became a Spurs supporter after the last WC. If you grew up a Saints fan, you will be very comfortable following Spurs. Just when then begin to look promising and get your hopes up, they fall flat and disappoint

I've already told her that if she roots for Man U, the wedding is off. Who should I steer her towards and how? Remember, I'll probably end up casually supporting them as I wait for my beloved Leeds to regain their rightful place at the middle of the EPL table. Help a bear out.
I think you know the answer.

I dislike your spurs choice because of
A) bad blood between city and spurs
B) they just made the CL
C) I effing HATE peter crouch
D) Garreth Bale is a douche

I picked Arsenal a few years back. Couple of my co-workers were Chelsea fans, so I couldn't pick them, and I wasn't gonna pick Man U. And Arsenal had just gone undefeated, so they've been my club.
The linked article was from 4 years ago. Wonder if the writer is still following the EPL/Spurs?

Good choice - I love to watch Tottenham play.

Liverpool appears to be in disarray
This is a good reason to sign up. You can't be accused of jumping on the bandwagon.
The disarray will go away soon enough when a new owner steps up. The club has too much fan following, name recognition, history, and intangibles not to bounce back.

Would you mind expounding a bit on A and B? Thanks.

<------------ big Spurs supporter
but yeah, we're getting some bandwagon hoppers right about now. Not sure how I feel about that
After we blow it in the CL playoff before the group stage, we'll probably lose some dead weight. For some reason I have a really bad feeling that round is not going to go well

I kind of latched on to Hull City last year, but, alas, they were relegated.
A couple other teams I liked were:
Man. City: I'm a big fan of Carlos Teves. He seems to be in on the action most of the time something good is happening. His performance v. Mexico was sensational, offsides or not. However, It could be seen as a "douchebag," frontrunner, unoriginal pick.
Their new manager dresses well too.
Arsenal: I know, I know. After watching for a season, I decided I like Arsene Wenger. Very stoic on the sidelines, kind of like Tom Landry. I know they are a Top Four, but what can I say. I know I don't like Man. U.
Wigan Athletic: I like an underdog, and they played the underdog a LOT last season. Showed class by refunding $$$ to the fans after a 9-1 drubbing at the hands (feet!) of Tottenham (Defoe scored 5, I believe?).
Wolves: Simply the coolest city name of a team ever--Wolverhampton. And they have, by FAR, the best logo of any EPL team (although the Arsenal cannon is pretty nice too).
