They can't?
A woman cannot throw a baseball 70mph, let alone 90+ mph.
There isn't an olympics for women's baseball or even a league.
There is for soccer.

Probably because they are told all of their life not to.

I've played a lot of baseball, soccer, and basketball in my life. I've needed more strength in soccer than the other two.
Soccer is more about endurance than speed. One reason why the Chad Johnson experiment didn't work out.

I'm even talking physical strength. I need to be stronger to play defense in soccer than I did to be a PG or 1st base.

So what you are telling me is that the quality of play in women's soccer is the same as men's?

If you find 18 women and put them on a baseball field, they can play baseball. They won't play as good as any MLB team, but they can still play. It's the same thing in soccer.

What the frick do you care?
well, at least I'm sure of the fact that you're being argumentative for the sake of it.

BS. To be a 1st basemen, you should be a power hitter if you're playing first base, and there's no way you cannot be strong to do that.
Now, the physical requirements of actually playing the field at 1st base, then yeah very little strength required IMO.

No, of course not. But the fact that they have a women's world cup and Olympics in soccer increases the view of the sport being more feminine. (right or wrong)

Would it make you feel better if they played on a smaller field?

Isn't the point to get on base and bring people home? I did that pretty well.

I'm just throwing this out there. A guy on my adult league team dislocated his knee cap and tore the meniscus in our game on Sunday.

There are women football leagues. There are no women baseball leagues. Hence, football is more feminine than baseball.

This is a new one.

That is nothing. I broke my cheek bone, orbital socket, nose, lost a tooth and had 14 stiches just under my right eyebrow from one incident. It was during soccer practice in high school.

Damn. Sounds like you fell onto someone's knee or the post.

I'm confused as to why just because women have organized tournaments for particular sports it makes the male leagues and tournaments that much worse? I don't think anyone thinks Lebron is any less masculine cause there's a WNBA.
You know women actually did at one point have a professional baseball league.
Also if I had to guess, I would say the American perception of soccer being feminine or sissyfied is because of it's popularity and Europe and how much we Americans like making our ancestors from across the pond for not being as tough as of (mainly the French).

Not to take away from your injury, Glass, but dislocating your kneecap and tearing meniscus is definitely something.
