If Nagbe was willing to play concacaf away games he would have played at the 2022 World Cup. Still disappointed he didn’t really play for us much.

He hates the travel, playing in shitty conditions, and being away from his family. He talked about it a bit on Benny Feilhaber’s podcast (with Sal Zizzo).

He also hated just playing for Jurgen. He had such a sour taste in his mouth after the 2017 debacle that he was just done with international play in general. It sucks because he and Pulisic played well off of each other, plus he would've been pushing one of McKennie, Adams or Musah more than a not fully fit LDLT was in Qatar.

He would have allowed us to rotate Musah and keep him more fresh, at least.
