sounds like chicken and the egg. I mean, if they tried to make it a big deal on ESPN maybe people would watch it? If they had consistent playing times and networks during the season people could find the games? TV situation is really frustrating, I know mls has come far but I know it could be a lot bigger. The games didn't even make the front page of ESPN.com, how do you expect the average sports fan to get involved and care?

If only some of these networks had some kind of internet-based video delivery system where they could air games that weren't going to be televised...

I am subscribed to MLS Live, and it still made me angry

agreed. So hard for me to get Dynamo games here in Dallas, I mean I think I've watched maybe 4 this year and half of them were on Spanish channels.

For some reason I think Portland and RSL hold on tonight and advance, I really hope LA loses.

Hell, its a pain in the arse to find FCD matches in Dallas. Their advertising and fan outreach sucks. If you don't have TWC and can't make it to the games you are pretty much screwed for the majority of the season.

I sent them another email about showing games on channels like CNBC and they replied, "Adding a live event to a non-sports channel is more complicated than you may think and not something networks are eager to do. NBC decided it was best for their programming to keep their schedule on NBCSN and CNBC.

The league will have more options as our regular season ratings improve and the fan base grows around the nation with more teams and better attendance at stadiums."

Maybe it would be best if Fox takes over the NBC contract. FS2 is just a wasteland of reruns.

As Portland fan I really don't know who I would want to win this one (assume we don't fall apart tonight) RSL is a really good team but LA really plays strong in the playoffs.

He's gotta get his body at a 39 degree angle with the ground before hitting it.

I want to jump into my television and slap the shite out of him every time he goes to play a 40 yard diagonal ball, and it hangs in the air forever. Anderson is the only central midfielder that I've seen that's worse about it.

Rat tail

So fricking glad that David Beckham moved on before we could be subjected to new bending ball jokes
